Know what you're looking at.

VeldGuide is a field guide, map and sightings log for Kruger. 941 species, all 12 main camps, seasonal gate times, and an offline pack for the parts of the park where your signal quietly gives up.

In final review for iOS. Android comes next.

Built for the park, not the lodge wifi

Everything in VeldGuide is made for the moment you're actually in: bad light, worse signal, and something interesting disappearing around the next bend.

Everything you'll see. And a lot you won't.

941 species with the details that matter at a sighting: quick facts, habitat and where in Kruger to expect it, what it eats, how it behaves, and the tracks it leaves behind. From the obvious to the aardwolf you will almost certainly never meet.

Spotted something we get wrong? Every page takes corrections, and we fix them.

A map that knows the seasons

All 12 main camps, gates with their summer and winter times, picnic spots, hides, waterholes, and every road labelled with its distance. The weather panel runs the forecast next to today's sunrise and sunset, so you know when golden hour starts before you've left camp.

See what the park's talking about

Log what you find with a photo and a pin. Sightings land on the map and in the feed, and share to the family WhatsApp as a link. When reports are thin we say so, because even the lions take days off.

Download it in camp. Use it where there is no camp.

Pull the offline pack down over camp wifi and the whole guide keeps working at 5am on the way to Satara, zero bars and all. Dark mode handles the other end of the day.
